Ward 25 is a 27 bed unit providing inpatient care for people with a range of respiratory conditions. There s lots of variety in our ward and there is great opportunity to develop your skills with training in areas such as chest drains and BiPap. Ward 25 encourages Nurses with their professional development and is supported by a Nurse Educator to facilitate ongoing learning opportunities. While you ll receive a comprehensive orientation and be well supported by other members of the team, recent acute medical experience and a focus and commitment to quality patient care is essential to this role.

In this busy acute environment, you ll need excellent assessment and time management skills. Your excellent communications skills will be pivotal to your success in this role as you will be engaging and educating patients and their families to ensure the best possible outcome
You will have demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals. The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused. We will provide you with a thorough orientation package and ongoing support to develop the skills required to work in this exciting specialty.
