In this sense, we are launching our National Bank Financial Markets Diversity Scholarship program for Women, dedicated to students interested in pursuing a career in Financial Markets.
Program Overview
This initiative encourages skilled and talented students who are interested in a career in Financial Markets to continue their pursuit of either an under-graduate or post-graduate degree in Finance, Business, Commerce, Economics, Computer Science, Math, Risk Management or Financial Engineering, while providing them with the opportunity to get acquainted with our organization.
As you are completing your education, we offer the opportunity to put your in-class learnings to use and gain valuable on-the-job work experience.
The Opportunity
Successful candidates will each be granted a $10,000 scholarship as well as an internship opportunity in 2023 in our Corporate & Investment Banking or Sales & Trading areas depending on their skillsets and area of interest.
As a recipient, you will be paired with a mentor leading up to your arrival at National Bank, ensuring a link between you and National Bank Financial Markets throughout your studies.
Eligibility Requirements
We are accepting applications this year from April 4th to April 22nd.
To be eligible for this program, you must meet the following criteria:
• Currently pursuing a full-time program in a university in Canada approved by National Bank (successful applicants will be required to provide evidence of their enrolment for the academic year).
• Have a genuine interest in a career in Capital Markets
• Outstanding academic performance
• Legally entitled to work in Canada;
