Project Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Murex Consultant to join our team in Sydney or Singapore. This role requires a strong technologist with Murex skills (technical architecture and environment management) as well as exposure to related technologies: Cloud (AWS preferred), CICD (Git, Ansible etc), Scripting (Perl, Python, Unix). The initial role would be client focused, assisting the current team with technical Murex work. Later the successful candidate can transition to our internal Cloud SME practice working on for example cloud migrations, CICD implementations and as-a-service implementations.

Responsibilities
• Work with the other team members in the client Murex team, assisting on the more technical aspects around environment management, cloud, scripting etc.
• Assist in 3th line support of end of day procedures, environment issues and Datamart reporting.
• Assist in support for any processes running on cloud (AWS) including on dev & test
• Participate in discussion with Business and Technical BAs to identify Requirements and Solution designs
• Develop changes in your area of expertise as requested.
• Participate Murex design council to present changes , get necessary approvals and get Peer reviews where required.

Skills
Must have

• Strong Murex Technical knowledge
o Murex 3.1 Technical Architecture
o Working with Murex Services and modules
o Experience in installing/building and upgrading murex binary

• Murex Configuration management
o CMS / CTT Tools

• CI/CD
o Ansible : Experience in Writing ansible playbooks
o Experience with Version Control System (GIT)
o Experience with Build tools like (Jenkins/TeamCity)

• General Tech Skills:
o Shell/Perl & Python Scripting
o Strong Linux/RHEL operational skills
o Autosys/Control-M job scheduler knowledge

AWS Cloud:
o AWS Service knowledge
o CloudFormation Experience
o AWS VPC and networking knowledge

Deeper understanding of financial markets from a non-Risk & MO perspective
MBA(Finance)/Chartered Accountant/CFA/FRM/ Other Bachelor Degree from reputed university
