Summary

There is an exciting opportunity for a high-calibre Senior to join the MENA Tax Technology Team (TTT) for a position as Business Analyst/Functional consultant.

The team is responsible for driving strategic work streams set up to deliver competitive growth for the Tax Service Line as a whole and drive client service excellence our Sub-Service Line (SSL) and geographies in the accounts we serve and target.

There will be some ownership of projects and initiatives, so the ideal candidate will have experience of aligning with key business priorities and working with colleagues to drive success.

Experience

• 8+ years in a corporate IT environment.
• Over 6 years' experience in business analysis or related technical field (application development, technical product owner, deployment/implementation and infrastructure).
• Good stakeholder management skills, working experience in onsite/offsite model
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be able to communicate fluently in English both verbally and in writing.
• Experience in Government and Public sector (GPS) projects from MENA region would be advantageous.
• Experience in Indirect Taxation domain is preferable
• Experience working in end to end integration/transformation projects

Responsibilities

• Follow the project strategy to elicit and document requirements
• Follow the procedures on how the requirements will be managed (i.e., base lining requirements, requirements, change control and requirements traceability).
• Manage and negotiate with difficult and opinionated stakeholders with regular supervision during elicitation sessions and during the development life cycle.
• Develop understanding of Analysis and overall Process Re-engineering including business process modelling (using tools like Aries, Visio), capability gap assessment, and definition of solution approach and scope.
• Development and deployment of formal business analysis methods and tools to govern and control programs at a Proficient level in accordance with firm standards.
• Work in close collaboration with other teams including solution architects, development, testing and deployment

Certifications

• Familiarity with ITIL v2 or 3 would be advantageous.
• Certification of Competency in Business Analysis and agile scrum

Education

• MBA and/or a degree in Computer Science or a related discipline
