Our client, the Australian Steel Institute (ASI), is Australia’s peak body representing the steel supply chain from manufacturing through to end users. It is a member-based organisation and is looking for a skilled Member Services Officer to join their team.

Your key role responsibilities will include:

• Handling member queries and requests
• Maintenance of digital membership database
• Processing membership applications
• Preparing certificates for membership
• Preparing regular updates and reports
• Coordination and distribution of the organisation’s magazine and other publications
• Assisting in development of associated marketing and communications materials
• Supporting the administration of the organisation’s bookshop

To be successful in his role you will ideally have:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role ideally with a member-based organisation
• Excellent administrative, organisational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written business communication skills
• A highly professional approach, flexibility and a strong attention to detail
• Excellent people/interpersonal/customer service skills in working with team members, external parties, and members
• Strong Microsoft Office and database management skills

This is a part-time position, 3 days per week (Mon, Tues & Thurs) and is a fantastic opportunity to join an organisation with strong values and a highly professional team and work environment.
