ABOUT THE ROLE

We have the opportunity for an experienced, energetic, patient focused Full time Medical Imaging Receptionist to join our specialised MRI team for their next career move.

You will have had experience in a medical environment, with an understanding of medical terminology, with the ability to work well under time pressure and be a quick learner as you learn more about our specialised industry.

You will be responsible for:

- First point of contact for patients obtaining MRI services in reception and to make bookings

- providing patient information for pre-MRI preparations and post procedure care

- Liaise with all Technologists regarding bookings or services

- Entering patient details using our patient information system Comrad

ABOUT YOU

Think this role sounds like the one you've been looking for? You will need following skills and experience:

- Health care / medical reception experience (desirable)

- Experience with Comrad or other Radiology software programs

- High level of personal and interpersonal communication

- Excellent organisation and time management skills

- Ability to work effectively on your own or as part of a multi-disciplinary team

- Professional personal presentation

- New Zealand Residency
