Job Description
We are looking for an experienced medical receptionist to join our team.
Main Responsibilities will include:
- Delivering high quality customer service to patients and Doctors.
- Greeting patients and managing front desk.
- Effective scheduling of patient appointments.
- Performing general administrative, reception and other related duties.
- Maintain the practice in a clean and a tidy condition
- Maintain confidentiality while managing patient records.
- Other duties as directed.
Key Attributes:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including an ability to communicate sensitively and effectively with patients with a caring attitude.
- Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure.
- Sound computer skills.
- Knowledge of Medicare, DVA and Workcover billings.
- Experience with Best Practice or similar clinical software package.
- Well presented, friendly, organised and reliable, with accuracy and excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work effectively both autonomously and in a team environment.
