Medical Receptionist

• We are seeking a part time /casual Medical Receptionist (9am to 5pm).  This is a great opportunity to be part of  our professional Obstetrics & Gynaecological team.
• Negotiable and dependent on skills and experience
• $30 to $35 per hour + super as casual
• $25 to $30 per hour + super + holiday and sick leave as part time
• Dr Cathy Lee is an experienced Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in North Shore. Our mission is to provide all patients with optimum professional care as a team.  This is a casual position on Thursday (1 day per week ). It can be a permanent part time position for the right candidate.
• Qualification & Experience
• Excellent communication, organization skills and computer competency
• Reliable, willing to learn new skills, patient and efficient at work
• Medical Reception experience is preferred but not essential
• Tasks & Responsibilities
• Answering phone calls, emails and enquiries, scheduling appointments
• Maintain friendly and professional conduct at all times with patients and all other medical professionals
• Processing billing and payments (Medicare & Private health funds)
• Typing dictated letters in the patient management system
• Assist with other administrative and house keeping duties including equipment cleaning
• Maintain information confidentiality at all times
