Alpha Medical Center Kalgoorlie is seeking a full-time position for a Medical Receptionist who will be the primary representative of our medical centre. We are in the heart of Kalgoorlie, and we pride ourselves in delivering a quality healthcare services to the community and surrounding communities. Our doctors and nurses are exceptional and very qualified in all aspect of general practice is concern. Medical Receptionist duties and responsibilities Medical Receptionists perform a variety of duties in order to support the medical staff and its patients. They are the main liaisons of a medical facility, interacting with patients and medical staff. They act as mediators in communication. A Medical Receptionist’s duties and responsibilities also include: Greeting visitors, maintaining appointments and providing direction to people in person and on the phone. The Medical Receptionist may also perform clerical work and disseminate information to medical staff. • Answering phones and forwarding calls to the appropriate party, or taking down messages for forwarding later • Collecting patient information and providing it to relevant medical leads • Tracking availability and preparing patients before their appointments • Informing medical staff when a patient has arrived or is waiting • Ensuring that each patient has the proper documentation and sign-in sheets • Handling correspondence and file transfers • Checking on medical staff throughout the day ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS -Commitment to quality of service -Experience in an administration role -Proven time management, organisational skills, ability to coordinate multiple tasks and demonstrated problem solving ability -Good telephone and interpersonal communication skills -Good IT literacy and familiarity with common windows software ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES -Phone and front desk communication -management of patient records, practice management software -appointments, billing, receipts -basic care and maintenance of important equipment -general team duties in support to the clinic SALARY: 40-60 AUD/Year Please forward all CV and COVER LETTERS to manager@alphamedicalkalgoorlie.com.au
