Patient Services at Kaitaia Hospital is experiencing rapid growth in a fast paced environment. We receive specimen collection requests from both the community and four Northland hospitals; servicing a population of 180,000.

The Role:

The primary function of this role is to support the Patient services team in the laboratory and the hospital ensuring we provide the best possible service and care. The work is challenging and will allow the successful applicant to become a key member of the pathology team; you will be mainly working within patient and specimen services..

We do require full participation in the after-hours roster.

What we need from you, we are looking for candidates who can clearly demonstrate:

• Computer literacy.
• Current NZ Driver's license.
• Physical fitness/ vibrant personality /compassion and articulation.
• Flexibility with days and locations of work.
• Ability to work well in a team as well as autonomously.
