The Company Profile:

Our client manufactures hydraulic manifolds and supply a wide range of products to suit all fluid power requirements - hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and instrumentation. They are one of the largest independent fluid power solution providers in Australia.

They are now looking to expand the team with a Mechanical Design Engineer. This role will be starting off more on the production and manufacturing side of the business before jumping into the mechanical design space.

Main duties and responsibilities:

• Design hydraulic manifolds from technical information supplied
• Review of design requirements in order to produce 3D models and drawings for manufacturing manifold solutions to customer specifications
• Engineering resource and equipment management
• Ensure quality, efficiency, productivity and high-level customer service levels are maintained
• Lead manifold design developments with either QA, software or resources.
• Liaise with internal and external customers
• Maintaining compliance with statutory and site policies/procedures

Position Essentials:

• Experience with 3D modelling software
• Experience in a mechanical design environment
• The drive to work in a team, and improve culture and the workplace
