Principal Accountabilities:
- Read and understand the production and unload schedule in order to coordinate with the production lines
- Operate a sit-down and/or stand-up clamp or high lift
- Operate depalletizing equipment, conveyors and all other relative production equipment
- Perform inventory management system with RF capability
- Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on equipment
- Record production line changeover information, observing and collecting data for equipment operating issues.
- Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
- Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
- Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
- Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
- Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
- Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
- Computer skills including being able to enter and retrieve data
- At least 6 months of experience working in a production or plant environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous forklift experience
- Previous Food Industry Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- SAP, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- Knowledge of Inventory systems
