Principal Accountabilities:

• Read and understand the production and unload schedule in order to coordinate with the production lines
• Operate a sit-down and/or stand-up clamp or high lift
• Operate depalletizing equipment, conveyors and all other relative production equipment
• Perform inventory management system with RF capability
• Troubleshoot and perform minor maintenance on equipment
• Record production line changeover information, observing and collecting data for equipment operating issues.
• Understand and adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
• Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

• Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
• Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
• Ability to work overtime including weekends, holidays, or different shifts with advance notice
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting safely, with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Ability to understand and communicate in English(verbal/written)
• Must be able to operate machinery and/or industrial equipment
• Computer skills including being able to enter and retrieve data
• At least 6 months of experience working in a production or plant environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous forklift experience
• Previous Food Industry Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• SAP, Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Knowledge of Inventory systems
