About the Role:
You will be responsible for owning the brand positioning and monthly campaign readiness for the SSSports.com’s private label brands. For this role, attention to detail and an eye for quality, along with the ability to grasp and translate technical capabilities and data into benefits is crucial
- Build at a consumer validated brand space for the Private Labels in conjunction with Sun & Sand Sports’ brand space.
- Chalk out the annual marketing calendar and formulate actionable marketing plans (ATL
+ BTL with a strong digital focus) to deliver on brand and business objectives.
- Be the primary custodian of the brand operations and be responsible for spotless
execution of the annual marketing calendar
- Understand the collection USP/philosophy with the design team and build a launch story.
- Assist in defining the core communication for collection for Marketing & Branding.
- Ensure internal teams are well aligned on the communication for a synchronised launch.
- Grow the overall business of the brand working closely with the Design, Product, Sourcing, Category teams by driving marketing and branding initiatives across all touch points.
- Develop and lead brand positioning conversations and plans.
- Ensure all launch elements (Communication, Imagery) are ready before launch of the new product range.
- Define opening brief for the content team as per different styles.
- Brief & review content for Social Media, Banners, Mailers, influencer marketing, and any other marketing communication channels.
- Review overall launch on-site - opening lines, banner, image upload.
- Extend brand imagery into the entire customer experience from merchandising, packaging, service to build a differentiated experience and create delight
- Plan and execute collection & seasonal range launches across all touchpoints with attention to detail (Social, Website, Content, Blogs etc ). Owning end to end content creation for the brand on a monthly basis .
- Define story for photoshoot & close the visual theme for collection.
- Ensure Coordination with the Studio team / Agency to get images ready for launch on time.
-Handpick the right creative agencies and build a strong relationship with them
- Monitor and track overall business growth on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to identify what works and does not work and drive business decisions.
- Weekly analysis of performance data through various tools like internal data and pull insights.
- Create a monthly PL marketing report and have a strong understanding of what's working and not working on various channels.
- Conduct customer surveys to understand feedback for success/non- performance of collections, products overall feedback on the brand.
- Drive and own consumer understanding for the brand and share insights with the team regularly to drive business decisions.
Skills & Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Management or Fashion
- 5-10 Years of relevant work experience of working on brands managing the communication and brand strategy.
- Brand Marketing experience with internet-first Private Label or D2C brand in Lifestyle category is a must.
- Excellent people management skills to interact with cross-functional teams and third parties
- Experience of working in an unstructured environment and should be entrepreneurial in Nature
- Thinking and problem-solving ability to analyse data and draw conclusions
- Innovation and creative ability to come up with new ideas and bring them to life
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated, open to learning with an extremely positive attitude
- Has an analytical bent of mind and is able to understand data
