What is the opportunity?
The RBC Insurance Marketing team is seeking an experienced and passionate marketer. You will work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to develop, launch, monitor and optimize multiple marketing campaigns and initiatives. We need a proven leader who is equally as comfortable developing innovative strategies as they are at diving deep into the details to ensure the smooth execution of campaigns from advertising to experiential to sponsorships. You will have both a flare for creative and will be an insights-led marketer who can convert data/marketing results into actionable insights to deliver on aggressive targets through best-in-class marketing. You will display leadership across functional teams and will have the ability to effortlessly navigate a highly matrixed organization to deliver results.
What will you do?
- Collaborate with internal, and external partners to drive integrated planning, campaign strategy, execution and reporting
- Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to lead, develop and deliver strategic frameworks, recommendations, creative briefs/execution, post analysis and presentations through an insight-driven approach
- Maintain a detailed understanding of our broker channel partners’ goals and priorities, and develop and execute marketing plans that produce required results.
- Successfully execute campaigns by working closely with agencies to deliver breakthrough creative that is on brand, time, budget, and media plans that deliver strong ROI
- Ensure disciplined Key Performance Indicator (KPI) establishment, measurement and analyses to enable strategic conversations, and fuel insights and future marketing plans
- Oversee end-to-end management of internal and external marketing budgets, including monthly re-forecasting, tracking, reconciliation, stakeholder updates
- Identify gaps in process and opportunities for growth within the overall strategy and share creative solutions and suggestions for campaign improvements
What will you need to succeed?
Must-have
- 5+ years of marketing experience
- Experience in integrated campaign management and execution including campaign development, agency briefing, approvals, & budget management
- Strong ability to collaboratively work in cross-functional teams and across the organization while being able to adapt in changing environments
- Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills
Nice-to-have
- Financial Services experience and previous Insurance experience
- Strong communication, storytelling and presentation skills
- Project management experience including cross functional navigation
- Experience in B2B marketing, specifically Insurance broker marketing
