The opportunity
We are looking for a Marketing Manager to create and execute a broad range of marketing initiatives. You will help to develop our global brand, collaborating with leaders and peers across the organisation to develop and implement integrated marketing programs that build brand, reputation and relationships.
The Marketing Manager will report to the Client Experience Team Leader and work closely with the National client experience team on key initiatives and sponsorships across Oceania. The primary focus of the role will be to develop and deploy targeted marketing programs, and support the client experience marketing teams in our offices around the country.
We’re looking for an inspiring self-starter who can challenge the status quo, turn ideas into reality and further differentiate the brand of EY through unforgettable campaigns and event experiences.
This is a 12 month contract, full-time, and can be based in any of our offices in Australia.
Your key responsibilities
Work with key stakeholders to determine marketing goals and objectives that support the firm’s business strategy in the marketplace
Gain an understanding of wider go to market plans and collaborate with Oceania marketing leaders to build a holistic plan to achieve goals and objectives
Create and deliver distinctive experiences for our clients and people across a broad range of corporate hospitality, brand activations, thought leadership and other events
Identify and manage relationships with third party suppliers and vendors, negotiating commercial terms and complying with the firm’s procurement policies and procedures
Facilitate relationships with external organisations and associations to support revenue growth, reputation and relationship objectives
Work closely with BD and the Client Service Partners to ensure programs are being leveraged and ROI is being monitored
Manage marketing team members and support the more junior team members
Contribute to the wider BMC team priorities and initiatives that support a collaborative and innovative team culture
You may also perform other responsibilities and tasks as required to achieve the agreed performance outcomes.
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for this role, you should have
8+ years’ experience in a professional services or B2B environment
Relevant tertiary qualifications or work experience
Exceptional project management skills
Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills
Excellent strategic planning and marketing communication skills
Ability to work successfully as part of a team and to work with multiple stakeholders
Proven ability to manage multiple agendas and always meet demanding time frames
Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as negotiation skills
Experience in business planning, reporting and budget management
Experience managing complex external partnerships
CRM and e-marketing experience
