About the Role
The role holder is responsible for ensuring effective implementation of Retail Marketing activities across the relevant focus area: in store, wholesale stores, digital stores, social media.
Core Responsibilities:
- Work cohesively with all members of the marketing team (Omni, Digital and BA) to create an omni channel activation plan and drive implementation in stores to maximize brand exposure.
- Deliver reports and analysis on activation plans, associated expenditure and resulting return on investment.
- Monitor and benchmark competitor activities, category trends and consumer habits in the market, recommending plans and actions to ensure competitive advantage.
- Identify activation opportunities across channels and recommend innovative solutions.
- Liaise with internal team members (product team, brand team, etc.) as well as external teams (agencies, influencers and communities) to deliver on certain strategies for stores
- Content creation through assisting in photoshoots within the portfolio based on the pre-approved brief and storyboard.
- Proficient user of MS Office (Excel, PPT, etc.)
Retail Brand management:
- Managing on ground presence through effective handling of implementation for the different campaigns happening across the year in the key cities where the brand operates: KSA, UAE, QAT, BAH, OMAN, KUW
- Support assistant marketing manager in sourcing suppliers, material required for the campaign delivery in addition to liaising the same with the brand/ internal teams
- Understanding the support requirement by the Retail and Wholesale department to grow the business and plan executions required accordingly
- Consistent market research to study the competition and assess change requirements for the brand
- Assessing with the help of the manager the budget split per country per store and deploying a return on investment study accordingly
Key Requirements:
- Must be a native and fluent Arabic speaker, reader and writer
- Must have previous experience working with Arabic language on marketing side
- Must be able to travel to Saudi/Egypt
- A positive mindset and attitude are key requirements; as the role requires the candidate to liaise with various teams and stakeholders
- Experience in the retail industry is preferred
- The candidate should be passionate about sports / fitness / active lifestyle / sports fashion (athleisure)
- Keeps abreast of professional developments, new techniques and current issues through continued education and professional growth
Educational Qualifications and Certificates
Bachelors Degree in Marketing & Communication, Public Relations or similar
