We are looking for a seasoned Data & Insights Manager to join the Central Marketing Organization (CMO).
The Central Marketing Organization (CMO) is anchored around a shared purpose for Customer Centricity, Marketing Thought Leadership, and Marketing and Sales Alignment. CMO accelerates the Area growth agenda through integrated marketing campaigns that delight our customers and partners and create Microsoft fans. CMO leverages deep functional and business expertise to deliver superior customer experiences through connected customer journeys and data driven storytelling. CMO builds strategic partnerships across Corp HQ and the Area to drive a digitally transformed, connected go-to-market.
The Data & Insights Manager drives the Area marketing insights strategy in partnership with the Corporate team, leveraging a suite of Modern Marketing targeting, measurement and optimization capabilities linked to business objectives.
This role is responsible for accelerating the data driven marketing culture at the Area and unlocking customer and marketing insights to inform and optimize marketing and sales strategy, planning and execution.
The Data and Insights Manager provides readiness and guidance to marketers and sellers on using standard reporting dashboards and marketing measurement capabilities including Marketing Engagement Index (MEI) and Marketing Insights for Sellers, to enable strategic growth planning, resource optimization and accelerated business outcomes.
This role also provides developmental input to global stakeholders to inform prioritization of modern measurement capabilities and roadmaps, based on business needs and stakeholder/end user experiences.
Provide rich business and marketing insights via Corporate-provided reporting. Optimize marketing performance in partnership with Corporate team and Marketing Service Central (MSC) /Marketing Coordinators (MC). Ensure alignment with Corporate measurement strategy and drive strong contribution to land business/marketing insights influencing business discussions.
Drive data-driven marketing culture. Drive usage of Marketing Engagement Index (MEI) and Marketing Insights for Sellers through readiness to marketers and segments.
Represent the Area in contributing to the evolution of GDC tools and capabilities by sharing inputs on usage scenarios and user feedback.
8 years of Marketing/Business Insights and/or Database Marketing experience. Proven ability to articulate rich insights and business opportunity areas from data and reporting.
8 years of program management experience in an enterprise environment working across multiple stakeholders (e.g. IT, Marketing, Finance, Sales) to implement business processes/solutions.
Strong understanding of Marketing Automation, Modern Marketing, and Commercial Business.
Technical experience with analysis tools (e.g., Excel, PowerBI).
Strong communication/presentation skills and executive presence.
Bachelor’s degree (B.S./B.A.) in Information Technology, Decision Analysis or Marketing, or equivalent work experience required. MBA preferred.
