At EY, you’ll have the chance to build a career as unique as you are, with the global scale, support, inclusive culture and technology to become the best version of you. And we’re counting on your unique voice and perspective to help EY become even better, too. Join us and build an exceptional experience for yourself, and a better working world for all.
The opportunity
We’re looking for a Manager to join our growing Perth Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy (TRS). As a restructuring professional at EY you’ll work across a variety of engagements to develop your capabilities, and you will help clients find financial, strategic and operational solutions to improve liquidity, credit availability and returns to their stakeholders. Further, as a member of a multi-disciplinary, global team you will gain valuable experience across industries and geographies.
With the autonomy to implement your ideas, and the support of senior leaders and talented colleagues, you’ll work at the highest level. In our friendly, collaborative environment, you’ll receive the support, formal training and coaching you need to progress quickly along the career path you choose.
TRS is part of the wider Strategy and Transactions (SaT) team which offers a range of corporate and government advisory services.
Your key responsibilities
In your role as a Manager you will:
Lead a small team on informal restructuring engagements (including safe harbour engagements), creditor advisory engagements (including investigating accountants reviews and pre-lending reviews) and formal insolvency engagements (voluntary administrations, receiverships, liquidations and mortgagee in possession appointments);
Have the opportunity to work with other teams across SaT to provide the best possible solution for our clients; and
Have the opportunity to get involved with wider Perth and National SaT initiatives, such as graduate recruitment, diversity and inclusion and business development initiatives.
Skills and attributes for success
We’re looking for people with the following experience:
Have completed a degree in commerce/accounting/business or equivalent
Have completed the CA qualification (or equivalent).
Have completed or are willing to complete, the ARITA professional qualification.
Have 5+ years experience in the restructuring or insolvency industry. A variety of formal and informal experience would be beneficial.
Ideally, you’ll also have
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
A collaborative approach and commitment to client service.

We offer a competitive remuneration package where you’ll be rewarded for your performance. In addition, our comprehensive Total Rewards package can be tailored to your individual needs, to give you the freedom to manage your role in a way that’s right for you. This includes;
a variety of flexible working and leave arrangements
personalised career development including coaching and support to help you build your career and access to formal learning so you can develop the skills you’ll need to thrive in the future
a range of tools and benefits to guide and support your health and wellbeing throughout your entire EY career
