We’re looking for a Manager to join our Turnaround and Restructuring Strategy (TRS) team in Melbourne. As a TRS professional at EY you’ll work alongside a variety of clients including financiers, investors, Government and private organisations. Our clients seek our advice to find financial, strategic, operational and policy solutions to their complex problems. Further, as a member of a multi-disciplinary, global team you will gain valuable experience across a wide range of sectors and geographies.

As a TRS professional you will
Align yourself with sectors that you are passionate about, with the support of the senior leadership team, driving opportunities to enhance your experiences and expertise
Work with the national TRS team across turnaround and restructuring assignments, from early intervention projects such as independent business reviews, financial viability and counterparty reviews, through to medium and large formal insolvency engagements
Have the opportunity to collaborate with the other teams across Strategy and Transactions such as Infrastructure Advisory, Transaction Diligence, Valuation and Business Modelling, Real Estate Advisory, Debt Advisory and Mergers & Acquisitions, as needed to provide the best possible solution for our clients
Skills and attributes for success
To qualify for the role, the following will be beneficial:
Have completed a degree in commerce, economics or law (or equivalent).
Experience working in a professional services firm, either in audit or consulting
Prior experience in turnaround, restructuring or insolvency is not essential.
Willing to complete the CA qualification (following completion of bridging subjects if required)
Passionate in making a positive contribution to our community
Strong communication skills
A collaborative approach and commitment to client service
Ideally, you’ll also have
Lead business development activities to sell work through development of internal and external client relationship networks
Successfully supervised, coached, and mentored juniors
