The Network Supply Chain Critical Sparing team manages the end-to-end national supply chain for critical sparing for the core wireline network. They ensure Field Services and the National Operations Center can meet the network’s time to repair and customer service commitments by having the right spares, in the right location, at the right time to restore network failures. They manage warehousing, logistics, purchasing, inventory, and repair and return. This role focuses on the repair and returns management of our critical sparing operations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Manage the end to end repair and return process for the wireline core network
• Analyze network, failures, inventory and demand to determine repair requirements
• Manage network repair budget targets and repair caps
• Lead, support and develop the repair management team (3 to 5 direct reports)
• Cultivate relationships and liaise with key internal and external stakeholders
• Manage multiple repair vendor relationships and contracts to ensure effective repair
• Act as an SME for EWP repair contracts, self sufficiency programs, and repair processes
• Manage sparing emergencies and escalations

• Analytical thinker able to evaluate the impact of a decision on costs, inventory, measures, network risks and customer service levels
• Proven desire and success in continuous improvements; never accepting the status quo
• Knowledge of Telecommunications network infrastructure and technology
• Experience in transformation through innovative and strategic thinking
• Communication – excellent verbal and written communication skills and aptitude for articulating complex concepts to different audiences, with clarity and persuasiveness
• Strong business data analysis skills, including the ability to pull, combine and manipulate data in order to analyse trends and forecast future demand and impacts
• Expert proficiency in MS Office (Advanced Excel, Power Point)
• Expert proficiency in SAP and SAP reporting
• Knowledge and understanding of Supply Chain Industry
• Post secondary education in Engineering / Technology / Business administration or related fields OR equivalent work experience
Preferred Qualifications:
• Previous management experience in Bell.
• Previous experience in the area of Supply Chain and Logistics
• Previous experience in sparing and risk management
• Previous experience and knowledge of the core network and associated technologies.
• Supply Chain professional designation or certifications (APICS CSCP or others)
• Demonstrated knowledge and commitment to Network 3.0 values
• People leadership and coaching experience
• Experience with Big Data Management
• Knowledge and experience in computer coding
• Experience with creating measures and metrics
• Experience with Agile project management methodology
• Bilingual: English - French is an asset
