What is the opportunity?

The Automotive Finance Specialized Lending (SL) team provides funding and balance sheet solutions to non-bank corporate and commercial credit companies serving the Canadian automotive sector.  Clients & prospects include original equipment manufacturers (OEMs, i.e. auto manufacturers), captive lenders, 3rd party leasing companies, 3rd party credit companies, dealer cooperatives, and large dealer groups. 

Reporting to Director, Specialized Lending, the role of Manager, Specialized Lending is accountable for managing key operational activities across the Specialized Lending facilities and providing support to strategic initiatives.

What will you do?

• Perform post loan reviews for Specialized Lending facilities
• Prepare and lead quarterly review discussions with GRM
• Support funding procedures for whole-loan programs
• Support control, remediation, and AML reporting and investigation efforts for Tricor
• Manage documentation of operational procedures
• Support risk assessments across facilities
• Support strategic initiatives through analyzing information and data and providing operational viewpoint to support decision making and business development

What do you need to succeed? 

Must-have 

• University degree
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant functional experience (i.e. Operations, Adjudication, BRMS, etc)
• Strong communication skills
• Detail oriented
• Self-starter
• Strong organizational skills

Nice to have 

• Automotive and lending background
• Understanding of retail credit
• Interest in product and strategy as part of your development
