About the Role:

As a Manager, Software Development, you will be supporting our large pool of contractors ranging from entry to experienced level Software Development professionals. You will select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of our Software Development group.

Job Duties/ Accountabilities:

You will manage all aspects of our contractor’s experience:

• Assist in our recruitment requests
• Welcome, onboard, and offboard people
• Manage and monitor performance and productivity
• Foster and maintain long term relationships
• Setup goals and objectives for team members for achievement of operational results
• Complete employment contract renewals
• Establish retention and loyalty
• Ensures policies, practices and procedures are understood and followed by contractors.

Critical Skills/ Competencies:

• 1-3 years of experience in the field of Software Development
• Experienced leader
• Promote a positive, inclusive, engaging, and diversified workplace
• Effective communicator, fully bilingual in English and French
• Active listener and patient with people
• Problem solver and decision maker
• Team player, ability to collaborate and work well with others

Preferred Skills:

• Experienced with various software and project management practices, ideally experienced with Agile and Scrum
• Resides in the Greater Montreal Area
