The Finance Team manages the performance and risk profile of Bell, ensuring the needs of customers, investors and employees are balanced with long-term business success. We work closely with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute plans that help the company achieve its strategic objectives and ensure financial sustainability.  
 

The Revenue Assurance (“RA”) Team is part of Finance, and its mandate is to identify, recover and prevent revenue leakage across the Wireless Market. The Revenue Assurance team is focused on improving profitability by maximizing revenues and minimizing costs. The team collaborates with a wide variety of stakeholders such as Product Management, Marketing, Finance, IT, Operations, Customer Care, etc…


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and assess potential revenue leakage opportunities and perform diagnostics/process mapping to determine project feasibility
  • Act as a change agent to improve billing accuracy and participate in new service/feature introduction to mitigate revenue leakage
  • Review business processes and workflows.  Documenting these with the objective of pinpointing gaps.
  • Extract data from our various systems and manipulate into a meaningful format
  • Elicit, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of stakeholders, customers and end users.
  • Collaborate with Project Sponsors to determine project scope, vision and improve operational processes.
  • Conduct interviews to gather customer requirements via workshops, questionnaires, surveys, site visits, workflow storyboards, use cases, scenarios, and other methods.
  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team
  • Create, produce and manage exception lists/data for action by business units, partners or suppliers
  • .Influence the development and implementation of business processes/infrastructure from Sales to Collection.
  • Lead cross-functional resources on multiple, concurrent revenue recovery projects.

 

Critical Qualifications/ Competencies:

  • Proven Project Management skills (3+ years experience)
  • Expertise in SAS/SQL, Teradata, COGNOS and Microstrategy with the ability to create queries in each of these databases
  • Established track record in the co-ordination of cross functional and virtual teams
  • Strong capacity to analyze and design workflows
  • Business analysis and analytics experience
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective research, analyze data and communicate results
  • Strong communication/presentation skills
  • Indepth knowledge of Order and Billing systems (SingleView, NM1, OneBill, UsageView)
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Results oriented, curious and pro-active
  • Strong sense of urgency and willingness to take initiative


Educational level required:

  • University degree in business, Computer Science, Statistics, Analytics or IT
     

Years of experience required:

  • 3 years Project Management, Business Analyst, experience analyzing revenue and related drivers

 

Specific experience:

  • Knowledge of SAS/SQL
  • PMP Certification or Business Analyst Certificate an asset
  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Previous experience working as a Business Analyst for software development projects
  • Finance exposure

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
