The Ministry of Health has established a COVID-19 Health System Response Directorate. The Manager Response COVID-19 Incident & Response Coordination is part of the COVID-19 Response group within this Directorate. The COVID-19 Response Group utilises the Coordinated Incident Management System (CIMS) structure to achieve coordinated outbreak management of COVID-19. The Incident Management Team (IMT) has been established under the CIMS model to coordinate the COVID-19 response. The IMT is a key interface for the COVID-19 Health System Response Directorate.
Te whainga poto o tēnei tūranga – What is the purpose of this position?
The Manager Response leads the team in operational and relationship management across health and multiple sectors, with a focus on implementing Ministry of Health, COVID-19 strategy and plans.
The Manager Response coordinates response efforts utilising the IMT to synchronise the health sector response. Additionally, the role requires an ability to lead and influence across health and government stakeholders by participating in multiple fora.

All Ministry workers on our sites or Ministry workers who conduct in-person business need to be vaccinated for COVID-19. Confirmation of your vaccination status is a requirement.
This position has a salary range of $136,224 - $181,632. The offered salary will be based on skills and experience.
