What is the opportunity?

Our Transformation Enablement & Delivery team is looking for a driven and motivated individual who can coordinate and manage projects and initiatives horizontally across the team, who is a stellar communicator and who can collaborate effectively to drive results. The ideal team member is someone who is successful wearing multiple hats, can thrive in ambiguity and who is a strong independent contributor. The individual will work closely with senior management to identify and support key initiatives that drive the Transformation Enablement & Delivery team goals while working to continuously evolve towards operating in a lean, agile manner. This role acts as the primary communications person for the P&CB Project Management Office (PMO), coordinating learning sessions and material and maintaining Connect and other communications channel content. This role will also execute against our Enterprise risk requirements, keeping the frameworks and artefacts accurate and communicating them to our partners. This diverse role will provide the successful candidate with exposure to the PMO core initiatives, lead the PMO communications and play a key role in PMO risk and reporting.  

 

What will you do?

Enablement

Identify opportunities for operational improvements in team processes, define action plans for resolution or improvement and execute on these plans on behalf of the team

Manage the PMO Capability Assessment including delivery and aggregation of data into actionable insights

Ensure training opportunities/content is communicated through the learning committee and made available on topics like Issues and Risks, Financials, Benefits Management

Complete targeted spot health checks on select initiatives and provide feedback to Program Director or people leader for coaching if required (artifacts, sign offs, general audit readiness)

 

Communications

Develop, execute and maintain a comprehensive strategic roadmap/plan to build an active, engaged, and self-sustaining community of project practitioners 

Build partnerships between theRisk, Sub-PMOs and other partners 

Enable low- to no-touch partner engagement through an effective knowledge portal and online community

Lead the creation of and maintain our practitioner hub with updated links to frameworks, training and templates

Maintain Communications channels and document repositories, including Connect, SharePoint, and Confluence, ensuring key communication materials are accurate, engaging, and accessible

 

Risk / Reporting

Maintain the Enterprise Risk Policy document raising gaps to PMO leadership as well as communicating updates/changes to people leaders and practitioners

Support quarterly Risk Reporting activities

Maintain backlog of 'best in class' items for Enterprise Risk Policy (ERP) standards

Coordinate audit asks (ad-hoc)

 

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

Ability to thrive in a fluid and dynamic environment with excellent organizational skills

Experience working with Planview and collaboration tools such as Confluence, Jira, Webex Teams, MURAL, and Connect (Jive)

Exceptional knowledge of communication tools, templates and technology including experience with HTML and custom Connect (Jive) content 

Exceptional writing, editing and presentation skills; strong knowledge of PowerPoint, Excel and Word 

Knowledge of Enterprise risk reporting or keen interest to learn

Self-starter, comfortable thinking through disparate processes, systems, solutions, and areas to leverage enterprise linkages to support successful change

Outstanding presentation and written communication skills

Knowledge of Agile values, principles and frameworks, familiarity with Business Agility

Customer-focused and results-oriented

Strong ability to impact and influence without formal authority: confident and approachable and able to deliver results by building strong relationships with stakeholders

3+ years of project management and communications experience

 

Nice to have:

PMP and/or PgMP certification 

Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining knowledge repositories

Graphic design skills; an eye for design 

Knowledge of Agile values, principles and frameworks, familiarity with Business Agility

Experience managing initiatives involving multiple teams and stakeholders

Post-secondary degree in communications, business or business-related studies
