What is the opportunity?

In this role, you will support the Senior Director- Physical Distribution Planning and Senior Manager, Physical Network & Distribution Analytics and Planning by transforming usable data and analytics into high-level insights to inform market presence and coverage initiatives.  You will also look for opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness in reporting and presentation templates.

What will you do?

• Responsible for data management and maintenance of unique databases of the RBC Branch Network along with competitors branch network across Canada
• Supports in the development of planning templates and processes , and identifies opportunities to improve the capabilities and output of such templates, automating where possible
• Conducts ongoing research and analysis to study the impact of changing client behavior and migration across channels  
• Leveraging internal and external data to improve the capabilities of the group
• Responsible for the prioritization and delivery of reporting requests from across PC&B supporting branch, client patterns and locations
• Responsible for executing scoring and segmentation models and sharing results with Planning Team for downstream feedback for investment prioritization
• Responsible for developing/updating tableau reporting views shared with PNS and P&CB
• Responsible for all reporting requests  including generation, distribution and archival to support PNS and regional banking relative to branch network, ATM locations

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

• Strong analytical capabilities and ability to clearly formulate/articulate findings to stakeholders and senior management
• Experience with GIS
• Expertise with Alteryx and experience in reporting and presenting insights via Tableau
• Familiarity with data manipulation programming languages such as SQL and SAS/R
• Expert Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills
