We are looking for a new Manager – People Operations to join our People and Capability function.  This role has a broad range of responsibilities and leads our Business Partners, HR Operations, Payroll and Health, Safety and Wellbeing and Analytics.

Reporting to the Director-People and Capability and a key player in the P&C leadership team, you will be well supported to work in partnership with senior leaders and lead the provision of innovative, high quality people programmes, services, systems and advice.  You will support success through championing and delivering Tangata Ora, Our People Strategy.

As Manager People Operations you will lead the provision of fit for purpose HR strategies, processes and services that support and enable the Ministry to achieve its strategic objectives and outcomes.

You will need to have a solid grounding in HR generalist/operational experience but we need someone who is going to work with us to shake things up and do things differently – our team is big on creativity and innovation.

You'll have experience with budget management, workload planning, reporting, coaching and mentoring and weaving te ao Māori into your work.
