The Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) is a Crown Entity whose purpose is to mobilise New Zealanders to be world leaders in clean and clever energy use. Our strategic focus areas are based on influencing the energy decisions in the transport, business, and residential sectors.

We're looking for an experienced manager to lead a team to manage EECA's Government Investment in Decarbonising Industry Fund and a portfolio of co-funded de-carbonisation projects. This includes implementing funding rounds, panels, and recommendations along with negotiating co-funding and project delivery contracts. The role will bring best practice portfolio management to the team including milestone management, monitoring and reporting.

To be successful in this role, you'll be a natural collaborator, with strengths in partnership and portfolio management. In addition, you will have significant experience in contract negotiation and management.

You'll also bring the following:

• A relevant tertiary qualification
• Strong management and leadership experience
• Commercial acumen
• Public Sector experience in grant fund management would be useful, but not essential
