As a Senior Manager, Cyber Security Operations Centre, you will be accountable for leading, motivating and coaching a team of security experts who operate 24/7. The overarching goal of the team is to ensure our customers have the most secure network. We are looking for a leader with strong people and communications skills who is adept at setting clear goals and inspiring teamwork.

 The team is accountable for the Managed Firewall service, which protects and secures organizational communications that are sensitive, confidential and critical in nature. It also protects and secures corporate information assets from malicious attacks.

 Responsibilities

• Inspire and motivate team members towards a common goal
• Drive a culture of trust, empowerment and open communications
• Manage day-to-day operations, cyber intelligence monitoring and threat analysis
• Drive automation and efficiencies
• Hire, mentor and develop staff
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide feedback on security control
• Monitor team performance and report on metrics
• Develop strategies and partner with Business/IT stakeholders to identify, detect and prevent security threats the organization faces

 Qualifications

• Knowledge and experience in Agile and Continuous improvement approaches
• Excellent coaching, communication and leadership skills with 7+ years as a senior manager
• Ability to make quick and smart decisions under pressure
• Good knowledge of Security Infrastructure (Cisco, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Palo Alto, etc.)
• Bachelor degree in Management, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• In-depth knowledge of performance metrics
• Government of Canada Level II (Secret) Clearance (or openness to apply for)
