Randstad are currently working closely with a growing Public Sector organisation, as they look to fill a newly created position within their finance team. The role will lead a small team of Management Accountants, whilst providing key strategic advice to the directorate DCE in order to drive strategic outcomes of the organisation.

Key Requirements:

• Lead a small team of Management Accountants, promoting a culture of partnership and project management alongising managing the use of allocated financial resources.
• Take a proactive approach in managing complex programmes of work on behalf of finance, ensuring successful delivery in line with organisational goals, objectives and strategies.
• Support the DCE with reporting and analysis, alongside ministerial briefings and correspondence.
• Represent the organisation externally, particularly across government agencies, whilst managing key internal relationships in an effective and timely way.
• Foster and drive integration across teams and divisions in order to promote cohesive systems, policies and processes.
• Support change management activities and programmes, ensuring successful programme transformation when it comes to operational services and cost efficiencies.

Key Requirements:

• CA Qualification or equivalent
• Proven people leadership and understanding of machinery of Government
• Strong Management Accounting/Finance Business Partnering skill set
