This is senior leadership role within the Communications and Public Engagement team. The role presents an exciting opportunity to lead the award-winning Unite Against COVID-19 campaign and channels. You will lead and manage a team of experts on the public information campaign, content, design, social and web teams with a forward focus on campaign strategy, approach and delivery.
This role will continue to support the NZ public through these unprecedented times with clear, concise, customer-focused public information campaigns and content. It will also continue to work alongside the Ministry of Health team on the vaccine campaign.
Looking ahead, some key milestones will be maintaining public buy in around the public health behaviours, and ensuring readiness to support the COVID-19 response as it continues to evolve and NZ post-vaccine rollout. You will be working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

The person is likely to be at Director, Chief / Principal Advisor or General Manager level (or close to being ready for these roles and looking for an opportunity that will round out their skills and experience).

The salary range for this role is $160,000 - $180,000 p/a including Kiwi saver contributions.
