Job Description
This position reports to the Senior Manager and is located in Laval. Working remotely is possible.
In your role, you will be expected to:
- Identify and develop business opportunities in your market and establish business development strategies.
- Help entrepreneurs transfer ownership of their business to family members, management or outside interests
- Recommend financial strategies in merger and acquisition cases based on the most suitable combination of Bank products and services
- Meet clients' changing needs by adapting and optimizing financial products and sales approaches
- Draw up sales and business development plans
- Work with members of the Business Transfer team to achieve goals
- Be able to identify the risks inherent to Personal and Commercial Banking activities
- Based on your academic background, at least 4 to 8 years of experience in sales and business development within the financial industry:
- University certificate or National Bank University Program and 8 years of experience
- Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of experience
- Master's degree and 5 years of experience
- Experience in sales and business development
- Experience analyzing financial statements
- Experience in commercial credit
- Experience in business mergers and acquisitions
- Established network of professional contacts in businesses in the territory served
- Experience in business valuation, an asset
- CPA or CBV designation, an asset
- Bilingual (spoken/written) French and English, mandatory
