Bell’s Field Services team is proud to be the face of the Bell brand, performing the best installation and repair services and maintaining Bell’s network for our residential and business customers.

 

The Business Provisioning and Assurance “Workforce Support and Optimization” team resides within the Field Services Operational Support Division. The team is focused on identifying cost reduction initiatives and opportunities to improve Field performance. Today the team is seeking a resourceful and dynamic individual to lead the team of workload controllers and help improve our overall workload management model. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to work in a high profile and challenging environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Lead a team of direct and non-direct associates responsible for distributing workload and coordinating with different operational teams

Work closely with the various upstream and downstream teams to develop and implement work methods and respond to ongoing changes in the organization’s priorities

Work closely with support teams to improve capacity management, staffing strategy and scheduling

Escalate problems to internal/external vendors, service partners and suppliers to ensure that outage times are minimal

Ensure effective performance management, coaching and development of direct reports

Develop relationships with internal and external departments and work in collaboration with colleagues

 

Critical Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have:

English written / spoken

Previous experience in leadership role

Experience with Workforce Management best practices

Proven analytical / problem solving ability with exceptional attention to details

Excellent leadership and a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively

Strong Self Management capability to work with multi-disciplinary tasks and projects

Flexible to work under pressure and meet deadlines, displays high sense of urgency

Strong aptitude to recognize opportunities for improvement and take appropriate action

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with leading or directing a Unionized workforce

Previous experience in process improvement

Previous project management experience

University or college degree or equivalent experience

A working knowledge of Business Provisioning and Assurance team

MS Office skills, with advanced level in Excel & PowerPoint

System application knowledge (IPACT, COPS, Horizon, MACAM, Remedy, Maximo, PVC-OARS, COPS, and TIM)

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
