 This role is located in Halifax, NS.

 Roles/Responsibilities:

• Design Experience, Design Patterns, Review and Coding Skills, Estimation techniques
• Trouble Shooting critical issues /lateral thinking, Problem solving
• Lead the discussion, guide the team and handling pressure, incorporate standards in design and coding, good understanding of process
• Co-ordinate with stakeholders for walkthrough meetings and demonstrations

 Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Mainframe development
• Good knowledge in Mainframe technologies, such as Cobol, JCL, VSAM, MF Utilities
• Knowledge in IMS DB/DC, CICS
• Good Communication skills and ability to successfully drive client discussions
• Team Management skills, Project Management and reporting skill
• Insurance domain knowledge and preferable to have previous working experience in the domain
