Mail Officer | Full Time | Auckland International Mail Centre

Our Mail Officer position has truly developed and evolved into a unique role. With its cross functional tasks covering freight sorting, logistics, warehousing and processing, we are now on the lookout for a candidate experienced within in these environments.

In this fast-paced job, you will:

• Accurately sort our customer's parcels & letters in a careful and professional manner
• Dispatch and transfer where needed to make sure our customers' parcels are headed in the right direction
• Liaise with various internal contacts to solve problems and escalate where required
• Flexibility to work with different teams as required  

This role will see you working Monday - Friday (8.30am - 5.00pm). However, under the current covid restrictions we are currently working in segregated shifts. During this time you will need to be available to work Monday - Friday 1.30pm - 9.00pm. 

We are looking for great people who are:

• Computer literate and comfortable using different computer systems 
• Natural team players that enjoy working as a team to put our customer's first
• Comfortable in a very physically demanding role -plenty of moving around, bending and heavy lifting will be required
