We are looking for a Manager to lead our machine translation strategy. This key role requires a good background in Machine Translation and/or Natural Language Processing. The candidate will need technical competence and excellent communication skills to implement process improvements affecting our content, working alongside technical and product teams, Vendors and Program Managers. What youll do: Take the lead role for all matters and projects related to machine translation

Monitor, measure and evaluate existing machine translation strategies

Surface opportunities to innovate and improve, as well as test new approaches

Create alignment on the product vision with our Program Management, Quality and Vendor Management teams and with our key Collaborators

Report on implementation of operations, quality and other performance metrics to Leadership team and Stakeholders

Who you are: Bachelors degree in the field of computer, linguistic science or any other related fields; or equivalent related professional experience

Proven experience in project management

Expertise in NMT, NLP, machine learning and deep learning

Proficient use of CAT tools

Experience in implementation of new technology and training of internal teams

Experience with overseeing roadmap strategy as well as leading discussions about technology decisions and tactics related to machine translation

Able to work autonomously in a highly demanding and often ambiguous environment, with attention to detail and organizational skills

Proven analytical and quantitative skills

Able to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop project business cases

Able to think strategically and implement methodically

Superior communications and inter-personal skills
