As a part of the Bell Brand team, the Machine Learning Engineer will play a key role in enhancing our advanced analytics and machine learning capabilities within the organization. You will be helping pave the way towards digital transformation and enable teams across different business units make better decisions. This is a great opportunity to develop and manage ML models on cloud, and manage the digital data for one of the largest telecommunications companies in the country. We are actively seeking a Machine Learning Engineer who will become an integral member of our Brand Team.

Job Duties/ Responsibilities:  

• Design, train, and deploy machine learning models to production in cloud, and ensure continuous scoring and monitoring
• Build and maintain data pipelines, provision infrastructure and secure reliable data centric services and applications in GCP
• Develop solutions as per business needs through machine learning or other advanced analytics/predictive modeling techniques 

 Critical Qualifications/Competencies: 

• Ability to deploy machine learning models to cloud platform with good familiarity with GCP
• Familiarity with packages related to data processing, data visualization and statistical analysis such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Statsmodel and Seaborn
• Experience in developing machine-learning algorithms, statistical and mathematical optimization models via machine-learning frameworks, such as Scikit-Learn, Pyspark, etc.
• Fluency in Python and experience with manipulating datasets via SQL 

 Preferred Qualifications/ Competencies:

• Experience with self serve BI tools an asset (e.g. Looker, Tableau)
• An ownership and growth mindset with strong attention to detail
• Ability to translate technical considerations into business implications
• Ability to work in a collaborative setting with internal / external partners
