Job Description
The purpose of this role is to provide compensation governance and oversight for both acquired company compensation plans and corporate/sales incentive programs. The role will report into the Global Head of Compensation and closely partner with the HR M&A and Sales Operations teams. We are looking for a specialist in the Incentive space with an astute and keen eye for transformation which will enable them to effectively partner with the M&A business to facilitate integration and adoption.

Roles & Responsibilities:
M&A Compensation Responsibilities
- Partner with the HR M&A team and corporate finance to review acquired company compensation/incentive plans, ensuring appropriate alignment and a roadmap to harmonization, where possible.
- Conduct reviews and provide oversight of non-harmonized compensation programs/practices, performance management cycles, etc.
- Act as focal point and advisor to acquired company HR and transition teams regarding Cognizant compensation programs and policies.
- Partner with the HR M&A team to conduct compensation benchmarking of acquired organization roles early in the acquisition process; assessing market pay mix and target pay levels.
Sales Incentives Responsibilities
- Lead the review and oversight of Cognizant’s Sales Incentive initiatives across multiple Organizations and Lines of Service.
- End-to-end ownership of calculated incentive programs for the Commercial & Delivery Organizations.
- Partner with regional compensation teams to establish base pay ranges and total target compensation for all commercial and delivery role holders.
- Develop and manage data sources that support all plan designs to ensure data and audit accuracy.
- Ensure that calculated incentive programs are aligned to Company’s strategic initiatives and support the desired outcomes.
- Owner of the administration and communication of the programs, while ensuring operational excellence, insight and efficiency.
- Provide support to the Sales Operations team with calculations and incentive plan communications.
