About the Job
The job of a Lifestyle Support Worker is to provide high quality care to all participants under Prydes Support. This includes but not limited to, providing support to participants with physical and/or intellectual disabilities, understanding and providing appropriate care to participants with low needs to participants with high needs who demonstrate a range of challenging behaviours, assisting with activities relating to daily living, community support, and empowerment, and working under the general guidance from the personal seeking support, and their family within clearly defined guidelines.

Qualifications & experience
Must have successfully completed a cert III or IV in Disability or equivalent or willing to obtain
Minimum 12 months experience working in the community and disability sector
Must have experience surrounding mental health
Have a current Blue card
Have a current NDIS Support Worker Check/Yellow card
CPR & First Aid
Police check
Residency documentation
NDIS Orientation Module
Must have valid drivers licence
Registered and road worthy car with comprehensive insurance
Highly Sought after Skills and Experience
Ability to work independently
Good time management
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Problem solving skills
