 CLM are seeking applications from individuals keen to join a team and become their Lifeguard at the Ashhurst Community Pool.  This role is Part time and involves weekend shifts.

 The Role:

 The role needs a motivated individual who can follow systems and procedures correctly, and work well within a team. 

The ideal candidate should have the following attributes:

• Follow systems and procedures correctly all the time
• Focus on health & safety for the facility
• Passionate about people and delivering high levels of customer service
• Confident and experienced in the aquatic environment
• Experience dealing with conflicts or problem resolution 

You need to be:

• Motivated, enthusiastic, reliable;
• Effective with communication;
• Strong with time management
• Confident swimmer
• Willing to clean

 Hours: 

 The role is part time and is based around the opening hours of the facility, Tuesday to Friday 6am-7pm and Saturdays 8am-6pm. Currently we are seeking team members for hours based around the opening shift of the facility as well as afterschool shifts, but there is expectation to assist in covering other shifts should the need arise. Therefore the role may require you to work early morning, late shifts and weekend work. Flexibility is key to ensure that the facilities are being lifeguarded to the highest possible standard. 

 Qualifications: 

 Relevant qualifications is advantageous, however training will be provided for these roles, and includes holding a current First Aid Certificate, obtaining a PLPC (Pool Lifeguard practising Certificate) which is a requirement for the roles. 

The roles are structured around a five-day roster and therefore you must be prepared to work in this arrangement and the role may involve weekend work.
