This household name in the Bay of Plenty is currently looking for an Level 1 Systems Technician to join our hard working IT Team located at the Head Office based in Te Puke.

Your new role

• Responsible for first tier technology support including troubleshooting of:
• Microsoft applications - Office 365, Exchange Server, Active Directory, Group policies
• Windows 10, Mac OS
• Network issues
• Fortinet, Cloud Apps, VMWare
• Client platform relation problems, including PC, Printers, Mobile Devices and Peripherals
• Manage and monitor all infrastructure and system installations, including configurations, testing and maintenance.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum two years experience in an IT Helpdesk supporting a variety of hardware, applications and operating systems.
• Experience working in ITIL environment.
• Expertise with Microsoft Windows Desktop Operating Systems (3.11 - 10 all versions), the Microsoft Office suite and common desktop applications.
• Experience with Microsoft Office 365 administration
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
• Excellent communication and time management skills
• The ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
• A genuine desire to give excellent, proactive service to the customer
• A can-do attitude
