The opportunity
We are looking for a Learning & Development Event Coordinator within EY’s Core Business Services team to assist the Talent Development team with successfully executing Learning & Development events across Oceania.
You will have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to both drive and manage multiple stakeholders and events in a deadline driven environment. You will be a proactive team player with excellent communication, event, project management and time management skills with a high attention to detail. This role is being offered on a full-time, permanent basis and can be based in any of our EY offices across Australia.
Your key responsibilities
Support the L&D Events team in driving, coordinating and delivering Learning & Development events in Oceania and Asia Pacific (as required) in accordance with the L&D events calendar
Ongoing consultation and stakeholder management with various Service Lines, Partners and the broader L&D team
Facilitation of stakeholder project meetings to drive, monitor and project manage events including continued consultation with the relevant Service Lines
Coordinate the search for proposals, speakers, facilitators and program scheduling for events up to 1000 delegates
Development of content for Cvent, SharePoint, communications and social media including working closely with internal teams across various time zones
Collaboration with internal designers to develop event collateral and materials
Coordination of marketing and promotional activities (e.g. creating and delivering communications plans)
Lead the coordination of all associated event logistics and coordinate all participant processes (e.g. enrolment, attendance and evaluation)
Develop and maintain relationships with a wide range of suppliers and the EY travel partner
Manage the L&D event budgets to ensure events are run efficiently
Assist in the management of virtual / hybrid deployment of events including technology and production
Skills and attributes for success
At least two years' experience in a professional services role where you've developed a strong client focus and the skills required to drive and successfully deliver a wide range of events
Excellent project management skills including delivery of detailed logistics and operational elements of events
Demonstrated success managing a wide range of projects and budgets simultaneously
Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels within an organisation
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
Exceptional organisational and time management skills including flexibility and resilience skills
To qualify for the role you must have
At least two years’ experience in a professional services role where you’ve developed a strong client focus and the skills required to drive and successfully deliver a wide range of events
Excellent project management skills including delivery of detailed logistics and operational elements of events
Demonstrated success managing a wide range of projects and budgets simultaneously
Excellent stakeholder management skills at all levels within an organisation

Ideally, you’ll also have
Learning, insurance and financial services industry knowledge is an advantage
Creative and innovative skills
Advanced knowledge of MS Office: Word, Outlook, Power Point, Excel
