Responsibilities

**Understand the Citi Research business and its drivers**

**Engage with all stakeholders for Citi Research projects to collect feedback, build-out requirements and prioritize system enhancements**

**Work with developers and vendors to translate requirements into technical specifications**

**Vet and approve Business Requirements Documentation from the Technology department for changes in the research departments products, processes, and systems**

**Ensure enhancements meet requirements, coordinate UAT and manage its delivery to the business, including communications and training documentation**

**Devise creative solutions when faced with budget and/or time constraints**

**Work tactically to break through bottlenecks and keep projects on track**

**Develop and implement best-practices that seek efficiency in program execution**

**Develop regular reporting and MIS to facilitate review and engagement around project status, risks and path to green"**

**Manage staff**

**Work in close partnership with control functions such as Legal, Compliance, Market and Credit Risk, Audit, Finance in order to ensure appropriate governance and control infrastructure**

**Build a culture of responsible finance, good governance and supervision, expense discipline and ethics**

**Appropriately assess risk/reward of transactions when making business decisions; and ensure that all team members understand the need to do the same, demonstrating proper consideration for the firms reputation.**

**10+ years of relevant experience**

**Advanced project management and execution skills**

**Proven track record of managing complex multi-stream projects; ability to multi task and be very flexible and adaptable in a very fast-paced dynamic and sometimes ambiguous space. Ability to ramp up quickly in a new space**

**Project management expertise for oversight of deliverables distributed across multiple, disparate technology teams across the front to back application stack**

**Excellent Stakeholder and management reporting skills; Provide regular polished updates to senior management**

**Superior and proactive Risk and Issue management skillset**

**Ability to produce implementation approach, timelines, go-live strategy with proficiency in excel, SharePoint, Confluence and JIRA automation**

**Excellent communication skills, structured and organized; Communicate ideas clearly with a focus on how end-users are impacted and business needs are met with the most elegant and timely technology solutions**

**Willingness to take ownership for coordinating issues where details and accountability are unclear**

**Deadline and outcome focused; Excellent attention to detail**

**Must have superior analysis and reporting skills; i.e. Ability to analyse and solve complex data issues associated with multiple hop dataflows (SQL, Python)**

**Strong trade lifecycle and Capital Markets data attribute knowledge**

**Operational experience (Trade settlement and Risk and P&L Reporting) preferred**

**Ability to articulate and comprehend Data lineage and Data governance needs in an organisation like Citi**

**Experience in creation of B/FRDs Good documentation and communication with the technology team both to provide requirements and understanding of any issues is paramount**

**Ability to develop Subject Matter Expertise on the key data elements that are consumed for reporting data to external and internal clients**

**Ensuring proper development life cycle is followed with artefacts to support Internal Audit and any inquiries**

**Ensure adherence to and develop best practices supporting Citis Project Management Standards**

Education

**Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred**
