Description

We've applied deep learning to our dataset of billions of images to build a best-in-class paper digitization engine, and we're looking for someone to help build the next generation. If you're excited about solving real-world problems and making an impact on our customers using large datasets and cutting-edge machine learning, this is the position for you.

Responsibilities:

Own the entire machine learning stack, from data curation to research to production to evaluation

Collaborate with senior machine learning engineers to solve real-world problems

Mentor application engineers and junior ML engineers

Collaborate with product team to define ML vision and own ML roadmap

Shape machine learning strategy

Collaborate with other engineering teams to ship machine learning into production

Qualifications:

PhD in computer science, machine learning, statistics, data science, or similar field, or equivalent industry/bootcamp experience

3 years experience developing and deploying machine learning in production systems

Strong computer science fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems

Strong written and verbal communications skills

Experience with deep learning and computer vision preferred

Experience with distributed processing systems, cloud-based technologies, specifically AWS is a plus
