Randstad is working with aged care facilities around New Zealand to find them casual and permanent staff.

We are currently looking for laundry assistants and housekeepers for a carehome in Cambridge for casual, ongoing work. Shifts may vary in time but will predominantly be 4 hours daily on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

The job includes (but is not limited to):

• Operating all laundry equipment as specified
• Managing supplies economically, avoiding wastage
• Ensuring all care is taken with personal clothing of residents and returned to owners
• Maintaining of clean/dirty delineation areas within laundry
• Maintaining a standard of cleaning that complies with Envionmental Hygiene Audit requirements
• Adhering to all Health and Safety Policies

About you:

• Have a friendly personality that works well individually whilst also co-operating with co-workers
• Communicate well with other people; older people in particular
• Follow directions and guidance
• Show an understanding of safe care and practice in one's daily work
• Fully vaccinated and boostered, if eligible
