MCI are seeking an energetic and experienced Key Relationship Manager to join our sales team.

About the role

The role is responsible for sales and account management of employment services qualifications and skill sets. This includes, but is not limited to, training, marketing, site visits, enrolment assistance, new program sales and management.

The position plays a key role in the marketing and sales of MCI Achieve courses to APM Employment Services and other Employment Services providers.


Working with both new and established clients, this role is to develop ongoing relationships with key Business Decisions makers (primarily in Employment Services and Support Programs) and to consultatively sell our services and capabilities to them.

The ideal candidate will thrive on supporting existing business and finding and nurturing new business opportunities. The role will involve getting to know clients and understanding their businesses whilst identifying and securing opportunities. You will be experienced and comfortable performing a high level of activities such as meeting with clients face to face, phone and workplace client meetings to explore opportunities and/or discuss their requirements.


Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Partnering with leaders and key stakeholders to prioritise knowledge, learning and behaviour changed to deliver referrals to MCI
  • Training of new clients and personnel on MCI courses, approach, systems and anything else that they may need in order to refer enrolments to MCI
  • Engaging in active participation in team and departmental activities to support and drive continuous improvement
  • Ensure effective relationships area maintained with all major stakeholders, internal and external customers
  • Work to continually improve organisational systems and processes to maximise employee efficiency, effectiveness and productivity to deliver quality outcome

What we're looking for:

  • Proven experience in achieving sales targets in either an Account Management, Business Development or Relationship Management role
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
  • Knowledge and experience in Employment Services Industry
  • A strong client focus with the ability to build effective, lasting relationships
  • Demonstrated commitment to a customer service culture and delivery of quality service
  • Highly effective networking skills to identify and connect with key decision makers
  • Excellent Knowledge of MS office suite programs
  • A background in the training industry is highly desirable but not mandatory.
