Your new role
- Responsible for establishing and maintaining major accounts to then exceed business targets
- Be the first point of contact for your customers to address their requirements.
- Work collaboratively with the other Account Manager and Accounts Co-ordinator to drive sales and marketing initiatives.
- Proactively seek out new business opportunities and develop a strategy to optimise this.
- Ensure customer segmentation and geography is managed, maintained and covered.
- Provide monthly reports on targets, KPM, customer activity, market forces and competition.
- Successfully develop an internal and external network of business partners,
- Develop knowledge of the product ranges, technologies, sales practices and procedures.
What you'll need to succeed
- Significant experience in account management and selling solutions/products and services to large, multi-site corporate accounts
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Strong planning, prioritisation and time management skills.
- The ability to use your initiative is essential.
- Results driven with the focus on profit margin.
- Solutions focused – able to understand complex problems, come up with a range of solutions and recommendations for simple, fast and effective decision making that is customer centric
- Great Sales and negotiation skills and techniques.
- Account management experience.
- Store and supply agreement/contract experience.
- Customer focused attitude internally and externally.
- Demonstrate the ability to build and maintain internal and external relationships at all levels.
