Junior Receptionist/Administration Officer
The Trade Institute of Victoria (TIV) has focused on delivering high quality Vocational Educational and Training (VET) for the Building and Construction Industry since 2007.
We are looking for a dynamic, energetic person to join our friendly team.
The successful applicant will be responsible but not limited to the following tasks:
- All round administration support
- Inbound and outbound calls
- Greeting clients and accepting deliveries
- Managing emails in a timely manner
- Preparation of documents and updating of information in student management system VETtrak
- Strong Data entry
- Liaison and communication with Trainers and Assessors where required Liaison and communication with students where required
- Maintaining and ordering stationary and the supplies of coffee, tea and sugar for staff and students
- Incoming and Outgoing Mail (posting and collection from the building and PO box at least twice a week)
- Ad hoc duties as required
- Phone Calls – Feedback calls to students, pre-course commencement calls to students, qualification calls

Experience & Attributes:
- Intermediate or higher Microsoft office skills
- Customer service experience
- Great phone etiquette
- Ability to work as a part of a team or autonomously when required
- High attention to detail
- Proactive and a willingness to learn
- Excellent organisational kills
- Current Working with Children’s Check
Package
- $48,000 to $55,000 (inc super)
General hours of operation
- 9 am to 5:15 pm Monday to Friday, located in Williamstown North
