Bell Canada’s Information Technology team is currently seeking an experienced Application Architect to support Bells’ Internal customer base.
The IT team is responsible for a diverse product portfolio associated with Monitoring Bell’s Wireless Network Systems and one of the products in this portfolio is specific to Fault Management systems -NNM (Network Node Manager).

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating with business users, technical staff and management to define business and technical requirements.
- Planning, designing, implementing and testing network solutions based on business requirements and working closely with our business partners
- Handling device alarms, troubleshooting and working with Device Owner
- Managing, updating and testing network devices
- Integrating network architecture systems with collaborating teams
Critical Qualifications
- Systems Integration experience network implementations including routing, firewall rules, & network traffic analysis
- Knowledgeable on network standards and Internals of network connectivity
- Good Knowledge of IP Networks, OSI layer, subnets, IP segments, TCP/IP, routers, switches, firewalls
- Expert Knowledge of SNMP, MIBS and network troubleshooting
- Good Knowledge of UNIX, Linux, Perl scripts, XML, Shell scripting
- Exposure to system integration of the network management and ticketing systems
- System integration of the network management and ticketing systems
- Manage Service Requests that request changes to existing Device, Traps.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communications and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Completion of a four-year degree program in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent experience in information technology
- Experience in Fault management applications and troubleshooting
- Experience with NNM (Network Node Manager) application
- Experience working in an architecture role for a cross-functional team
- Works well independently and within a multi-disciplined team
- Scrum Agile and SAFe methodologies
