We are on the lookout for a recently qualified (or nearly qualified) Financial Accountant to join our boutique firm situated in Ponsonby. 

The successful applicant will be offered a variety of work experience involving:

·      preparation of management and financial accounts 

·      GST calculations

·      Income Tax returns for Companies, Individuals, Trusts

·      Liaising with and building relationships with clients

·      Reviewing client’s internal financial controls

What skills will you need?

You will have excellent communication skills and time management ability and a natural urge to get to the bottom of issues - tenacity, attention to detail, and the ability to think outside the box are all skills that will set you up for success in this role. 

We're looking for someone collaborative in nature; a strong team player who enjoys engaging with a range of people across businesses. You will be confident gathering information from others and have a passion for working out better ways of doing things.
